I admit I am a 'gear head'. It used to be much worse, but now I limit it to computers, software, and guitars.

I've used computers to help make music since the early 90's amd even before that if you caunt using some of the really old hardware based sequencers. I aminly use Apple Logic Pro and Native Instruments plug-ins.
